I was one of those employees. I know how it happens. I know the impact. And I also know how to turn it around.

Entering the world of marketing as a fresh-faced young professional, I was soon nominated as a high potential employee. Not long after, I faced burnout and the prospect of a ‘lifelong’ illness, marked by increasing sick days at work and eventually the resignation I would leave my job – and give up on my career.

But that wasn’t the end of the story. I turned it around and am now working with HR Managers to reduce sickness in the workplace through health and performance coaching, using NLP and where requested, the Lightning Process.

1 in 3 UK employees are living with a long term health condition, and for those who have burnt out, the statistics show they are 2.6 times more likely to leave their job.
